My real strength in word processing is accuracy. I take care to ensure that grammar rules are followed, that spelling is correct, and that the results are what the client intended.
Payment for word processing is by the page, at $5.00 per page, with a minimum charge of $10.00.
Proofreading - for websites or hard copy.
Websites are frequently a customer's only means of judging your business. A site filled with spelling or grammar errors can easily make a bad first impression on potential customers; having it proofread can only enhance your chance of making a good first impression. I will also provide comments on the clarity of the graphics and text with at least two browsers. This service is marketed to web designers or to site owners. A report will be prepared and sent to the client.
Fees for website proofreading vary; the minimum charge is $40.00.
For proofreading of hard copy, it is best if a printed copy is sent to me (or the document is sent in a way that I can print it for proofreading). I ask that you not send the only copy of a document, and will not assume responsibility for lost or damaged documents.

The fee for this, for up to three paragraphs, is $5.00.
Online Research
This service is aimed at people who need specific information but do not have the time to devote to finding it. Results are presented to the client in the most useful manner. For example, if the client needs the mailing addresses of all division managers for XYZ Corporation, and intends to send information to these people, I am happy to present the information either as a list or prepare a template for mailing labels (or both).
Fees for this work are $20.00 per hour, with a minimum of $40.00.
